BIOGRAPHY

International Dancer | Facilitator of Women’s Inner Transformation | Conscious Movement

Sara López is an internationally renowned dancer, widely recognized as the Queen of Kizomba—a title that has evolved beyond the dance floor to become a symbol of strength, sensuality, and feminine presence. For years, she has traveled the world teaching workshops and performing on international stages, inspiring thousands of women to reconnect with their bodies through movement.

Today, her work goes even further: she uses dance as a powerful tool for self-discovery, empowerment, and reconnection with the feminine essence.

A Strong Foundation: Discipline, Excellence, and Self-Expression

Sara began dancing at the age of five, training for 15 years in Classical Ballet, where she earned the prestigious The Royal Ballet of London certification with Honors. This rigorous education gave her a profound understanding of body awareness, discipline, and respect for the art of movement.

Alongside her classical training, she expanded her artistic language through nine years of Flamenco, four years of Contemporary Dance, as well as Jazz and Funk, exploring different forms of emotional and stage expression from an early age. She was also a member of the África Guzmán Youth Ballet, performing as a soloist and developing the captivating stage presence that continues to define her work today.

The Body as a Space of Freedom

Driven by a constant desire to grow and explore, Sara immersed herself in Belly Dance, Latin Dance, Hip-Hop, and other movement disciplines that allowed her to deepen the connection between the body, emotions, and feminine energy. At the age of 22, she traveled to Los Angeles, where she trained with internationally renowned choreographers, expanding her vision of movement as a universal language.

This journey not only shaped her artistic identity but also laid the foundation for the work she does today: helping women feel at home in their bodies with confidence, pleasure, and authenticity.

Kizomba: A Bridge to Feminine Empowerment

In 2009, Sara began her professional journey in Kizomba, a discipline that would transform both her career and her life. After achieving second place internationally while representing Spain at Africadançar, she embarked on an international career, teaching workshops and performing around the world.

Yet it was through her direct connection with other women that she discovered something far more profound:

Dance does more than teach steps—it awakens confidence, sensuality, and self-worth.

Through Kizomba and conscious movement, Sara began guiding women through deeply transformative journeys, helping them reconnect with their femininity from a place of authenticity, freedom, and self-acceptance—far beyond external expectations or societal standards.

Siento que mi misión es acompañar a mujeres a recordar quiénes son cuando vuelven a su cuerpo. I feel that my mission is to go along with women to remember who they are when they return to their bodies.
